Madelyn Ambrose, CFP® embraces Horizon’s dedication to people and their unique needs. From a young age she knew she wanted to partner with people, help them understand the importance of financial planning and walk with them every step along the way. She remembers her parents stressing the importance of financial literacy and taking control of your own destiny to her and her three sisters. Educating and empowering people to do the same is a big part of what drives her now. Before joining the team at Horizon, Madelyn obtained her bachelor’s degree in finance from Grand Valley State University as well as her Series 7, Series 66, Accident, Life and Health Insurance licenses. After college she worked at a community bank where she learned the ropes of this industry and truly fell in love with financial planning.
Madelyn resides in Ludington with her husband, Kenny and their fur baby, Basel. As a Ludington native, Madelyn cares deeply about her community and its people.
Fun Fact: She spends most of her free time on Lake Michigan with family and friends where she enjoys salmon fishing. When she’s not on the water, Madelyn is likely running, snowboarding, or cooking with her husband
