An independent financial advisor in Northern Michigan for over 25 years, Holly focuses on providing comprehensive retirement planning and ongoing wealth management. Her passion, expertise and commitment have allowed her to build meaningful long-term relationships with her clients and their families, as well as with their CPAs, attorneys and other advising professionals.
Holly has partnered with hundreds of clients since 1992 to help make their financial goals realities. Her clients, in turn, have helped her build her business primarily through referrals. Because she is fee-based, Holly’s cost of doing business is transparent and her recommendations are truly honest. Her professional designations assure that she is held to the highest standards in handling her clients’ assets.

Holly, a Traverse City native, holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Central Michigan University and worked for two Fortune 500 companies before opening her own firm. She lives on a 100-acre farm with her husband, Doug, and their children, Madison and Douglas.
Caitlin is a wonderful addition to the Horizon Financial team. Internally she helps her colleagues with numerous tasks, projects, and procedures. Caitlin also has direct contact with clients and stands ready to assist them with their service needs. She will guide clients through scheduling an appointment, updating contact information, forms processing, and making sure all of their service questions are addressed in a timely manner.
She is a 2013 graduate from Ferris State University, graduating with a bachelor’s in accounting. She brings to the table an open mind, eagerness to learn, objectivity, and analytical thinking.
Caitlin is a Traverse City native and currently lives in Lake Ann with her husband, son, and two dogs.

Marlene comes to Horizon Financial with a firm background in client service, sales and marketing. Her consultative approach makes her a great fit to anticipate clients’ needs and provide the highest level of customer care to build long-term professional relationships.
A graduate of Grand Valley State University (Go Lakers) she lives with her husband on Old Mission Peninsula and enjoys almost any outdoor activity, reading, baking, crocheting and hanging out with her grandchildren.
